It is best for you to talk with your health care provider or a dietician who can design a diet specifically for your medical needs. In the meantime, here are a few articles that offer a bit more information:
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI have diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. I need a good diet.
-- Contributed by: alvin morganHi Bonny,
The first thing you do is go to their website and sign up. Their online services let you follow their plan online, at your own pace, on your own time.

-- Contributed by: bonnyHi Cheryl,
Weather you're counting points, carbs or calories learning to write it down is a discipline. But if I don't, I don't stick to the plan. Perhaps you should plan you day out ahead of time, write down your points and stick with that menu for the day.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI've tried weight-watchers my problem is I can't seem to monitor the points i start out doing fine then 2 or 3 days later i'll forget to write in the journal.

To learn how many points you should eat requires attending a Weight Watcher's meeting. There you will be provided with all the information you need to know how to count points and plan your menu. If you can't attend a meeting near you, they do provide online memberships that will give you all the information you need to get started and to lose weight.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHi I am 165 pounds i would how many point should i take in daily or what kind of food i should eat.
-- Contributed by: TomechiaHi Anita,
Weight Watchers does have a line of cuisine which can be purchased at most major grocery stores, but the idea behind Weight Watchers is that regular foods are assigned a points value based on the Weight Watchers Points system. These points are dependent on serving size, number of calories, amount of fiber grams, and the amount of fat grams in the food. The amount of points each dieter is allowed each day is based on their body weight, and how much they are trying to lose.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladIs there a web site where someone can go and by WW foods?
-- Contributed by: Anita SantiniWeight Watchers' point system helps people curb the amount of food they eat without counting calories. No matter how healthy you eat, if you take in more calories than you burn, you won't lose weight and will even gain unwanted weight. You've identified the problem. Portion control Weight Watchers is one way to accomplish this. If you don't want to follow a program like this, you can always count calories on your own.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI need to lose wt. I feel I eat a healthy diet, just too much.
-- Contributed by: Lori BowdenYou will need to do this yourself at the Weight Watchers website.
