I tried running and a lot of water. Didn't work. Applying Weigh Down principles helped me loose 40 pounds in 3 months. It's been off for 7 years!

I tried many, many diets and the weight always came back and more! But since 2002 when I stopped dieting and ate the way Weigh Down taught, I've lost 70# and kept them off! God made our bodies so wonderful - we just need to listen to His ways!

Wow - so grateful for the Weighdown program - on the surface, 80 pounds down is the most obvious change - am in my early 60's and never felt better!! But the real prize is the peace and joy I feel in all parts of my life - no "diet" can do that, only God - and like many others, I tried about everything out there. The weight's been off for several years - this truly is a permanent, and ever so welcome, change! It works!

Thank you for highlighting the Weigh Down Diet. I can speak from personal experience that this has been one of many ways that I have used to loose weight. However THIS has been the only program that has helped to loose 40 lbs and keep them off for 5 years. I realized at some point in my life(like many others) that loosing weight was not nearly as hard as keeping it off. Weigh Down has helped to see that there is a God who cares so much about us that has given us principles for life and eating: wait to eat until you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. It does work!!!

I love this program! I took my first class 3 years ago. I have had a total weight loss of 80 pounds and have kept it off. I feel like I am always in a state of amazement when I enjoy the foods I do and the weight stays off!! I recently found a recipe in a magazine for avocados with a sugar/bacon sauce. I was with a family member that commented that avocados are the most fattening thing. My heart jumped as I realized I didn't have to worry about fattening foods. I enjoy fattening foods and remain thin. The only word I can use to describe how I felt at that moment was FREE!!

It feels SO GOOD to not be overweight anymore! Even though it has been 10 years since I was at my highest weight, I still remember how awful it felt. I lost all that weight while taking Weigh Down seminars. It is not hard at all to stay at the weight I am now - it's like breathing...it's easy. I hope everyone does this!

I took a Weigh Down class in January of 2006, and began to lose weight right away. I lost a total of 42 pounds and have kept it off for 3 years. I would recommend this program to anyone desiring to lose any amount of weight!

I NEVER thought I would be back into a sz32 from sz38 and NEVER thought I would EVER get under 200 lbs. from 230. I now wear sz32 & weigh 170. Praise God for Weigh Down!!!

I started taking classes in my church about 8 years ago, and it really is a do-able lifestyle change, I lost 50 lbs and have kept it off. I will never go back to over eating and counting calories, fat grams, or carbs everr again!

I read the Weigh Down Diet book 14 years ago. I am totally changed after learning how to stop binging on foods as soon as I got in from then school and now work!!

I have just recently read this book and found it very freeing. It certainly takes away my obsession with food. The thing that really stood out to me is that it's not about learning to control the food, it's learning to listen to our bodies the way they were designed to tell us when we are hungry...and when we are not!

I am following this method and it works.It has taken my lifelong obsesion with dieting away, and it has brought me closer to God. So, I think it is great and would encourage people to try the basic principles. I really agree that God doesn't want us to be idolizing food. I beleive that that is what I have done my whole life.
