Hi Star,
Sorry you don't agree with this article. I know that there are two camps on the subject. Those for and others against. I've even talked to people who say that humans were not created to eat meat at all but that God allowed it after the flood.
Thanks for sharing your viewpoint and taking the time to comment. It's good to get all sides of a debated topic.

The error in the article pointed out by NovoSibirsk is an indication of that. There are excellent sources of information available and sadly this isn't one of them. I invite readers to look up Jared Diamond's article "The Worst Mistake In The History Of The Human Race" by Jared Diamond, Prof. UCLA School of Medicine Discover-May 1987. It is available online in pdf format.

Point well taken. One of the problems is that there are "experts" on both sides of these health issues.

If you eat carbs, you have to move, move a lot, that's why poor asian nations have not yet reached the levels in cancer, MS, coeliac or diabetes we have. They have to walk for hours to get their things done.
A very good example is India, where all those autoimmune maladies are getting rampant in the population that has adopted a western lifestyle, lots of carbs and no exercise.
The carb load recommended as a healthy and varied diet may be toxic, may cause obesity, cancers, diabetes, ms and weaken the immune system.
