Hi again Denise,

Do you like Burn It Up more than you did Ramp It Up? Congratulations on your weight loss! Way to go.

Hi Denise,

Not every exercise program is right for every person. The key is to find something you enjoy that keeps you active. Thanks for sharing.

I lost 14 1/2 inches within one month using Slim in 6 Start It Up & Ramp It Up. I am now on Burn It Up. This video series works!

The music is boring and at times the rythm is off but the exercises are effective and will give you the results your looking for.

Hi Shari,

One benefit of ordering this plan is that they offer 24 hour support. You can contact them to get all your specific questions answered.

I am getting ready to order the Slim in 6 workout. I was wondering if when I get the results I want, what is the best advice for maintaining the "inches" and "weight" I am comfortable with? Is there a specific DVD that provides better results for maintaining than others? Also I am more at the point that I want to firm up, not really lose weight, is this a good program for that as well?

Jessica,

I have the program and love it, the materials are really good at explaining...but in a nut shell, you do "Start it Up" for the first three days, then "Ramp it Up" for the remainder of the first week, then the next two weeks. Then use the "Burn it Up" for the last three weeks. It's a great program that really makes you sweat. It's not a fad, but a lifestyle you have to adopt - so make sure you're ready for that. Good Luck!

Hi Jessica,

I don't know the specifics, but it should be included in the instructions. What do they say?

I still have a question about the program. Do you do the start it up for a week and then the ramp it up for a week and so on? Im so unsure of which one to do first and then next and how often to do them

If you think that this is just another fad--trust me it's not. I started Slim in 6 in the summer and I lost 11 pounds, from one week alone. For 6 days out of the week, I ate healthier because of the fact that I was working so hard to exercise. Mind you I did Start it up, Slim and Limber and Slim and 6 pack, then moved up to Ramp it up after two days, for six days straight. Also the moves may be difficult at first, but it's really easy to correct yourself; just make sure you take the time to do so. I've started up on Slim in 6 again now that it's October. I started out with my chest at 40, it's now 38, my waist at 36, it's now 34 and my hips at 45, they're now 43 1/2. This is just my first week, by the way. That's already a 5 1/2 inch loss. I've already lost like 3 pounds, so now I weigh in at 171. However, I'm not concerned with the scale anymore, I just really want to lose the inches. And from all that I've read online to lose inches all over, Slim in 6 offers it, in one workout. It may be intense, and really hard at first, but soon you'll either love the burn and appreciate it for what it is (your muscles working their hardest), OR you'll love the results you see at the end of the first week! I highly recommend this to someone who isn't sure what to start with. This workout is intense, but it gets results... and your body just wants to be healthy. This product delivers all of the above :). Good luck :P -Sarah

Hi Vanessa,

You're wise to keep your weight in check over the holidays. It's so easy to throw healthy eating out the window for the entire month between Thanksgiving and Christmas only to face the new year with extra pounds to lose. Perhaps that's why losing weight is such a popular New Year's resolution.

I ordered the Slim In Six program when I weighed 135 pounds, which is alot for my 4'11 stature. But I lost 15 pounds in the first 2 weeks, and since then have lost a total 10 more pounds. Right now I weigh 110 pounds, and over the holidays gained 8 pounds. That put me at 118, I just pulled out my slim in six diet plan and worked out with the dvd, its been 4 days and I'm at 112. So thank you slim in six, I love it and recommend it to any one.

You are so right about structure. Before we start a diet, we tend to think it will be confining and hard to do because we'll be hungry all the time. And the real problem is we want to eat what we want whenever we want it.

Plans like Slim in 6 are well thought out and combines exercise with eating right, so it pays off in many ways. If a person wants to lose weight it does take commitment. When we want to save money we budget, if we want to have more time we learn to schedule our activities, and if we want to lose weight plans like this offer the needed help. People need structure. Here are just a few benefits when dieting:

  1. Dinner is planned ahead
  2. Helps you stay in your grocery budget because don't impulse buy
  3. Helps you stay within calorie count
  4. Helps you to eat a variety of foods
  5. Helps feed your body nutritionally

Let me tell you. It works! I'm sorry but there is NO quick-fix to weight loss. It takes Honor, Courange & Commitment to get it done. This program provides you with Structure, which we all need. It is rare that anyone is so self-willed and structured that they can achieve MAXIMUM results without a guide. Why do you think all these hot actors and actresses NEED a personal trainer. They can't do it without structure. Slim in 6 provides this. The motivation throughout the videos and the testimonials after each workout really keep you going. It's like having support of people who were as committed as you are trying to be, and seeing their AWESOME results because they stuck to it using the SAME methods. My first week I lost 8.5 lbs and 5 inches total (2 inches off the waist). My second week I lost another 2.5 lbs. I already purchased a pair of pants in the next size down to replace slacks that were already too big. I'm starting week three with the interchange between Ramp It UP! and Burn It UP! Anyway...this program works. For those of you who just don't think you can commit to the physical activity of 6 days per week, I still think you should try. 6 days a week for one hour is NOTHING if you're really dedicated to becoming healthier, sexier, and happier for you. You have to want it badly enough for yourself or you will fail. I am determined to defy our family genetics of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attacks, cancer, etc. If I can do it, you can give it all you've got too!

My goal is to finish Slim in 6, and because I'm having so much fun with the "Beachbody" instructors & team, I would like to purchase P90X (Power 90 Xtreme) with Tony Horton for Fat Shredding and Muscle Ripping to define the look I'm going for. I'm excited to get there, but I have to keep working to finish my goal!
