Hi,

I have been gaining a lot of weight recently and it's really starting to take its toll. I have never been on a diet before so i am really not sure where to start. My doctor told me about this diet, so i guess it must be good. Could you help me out by telling me where to start?

Is there a site that I could go to to get recipes. I would like to starting eating healthy, as your menu's sound interesting and I don't have a healthy heart and I need to help it get better.

Hi Ayn,

Every Mediterranean diet meal should include choices from each food group. For breakfast you would not eat just a bowl of oatmeal or a piece of toast. Instead, you should also include fruit, and maybe nuts or low-fat yogurt. A example of a Mediterranean breakfast is: Beverage of your choice, yogurt sweetened with honey, fresh fruit, and some simple hearty bread or pita without butter or margarine.

Hi Lisa, sorry you're disappointed! No, there's no fee to see the rest of them-- this is all we have. :) We actually put most of our recipes at LoveToKnow Recipes. I'll try to get some Mediterranean diet recipes over there.

why is there only one recipe under each category?...... example...under main courses there is only one recipe available...the same for salads, desserts etc.?.......do we have to pay a fee before we see the rest of them?
