Janet basically lost her weight by changing her eating habits and increasing her level of activity. The bottom line, if you want to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you take in. Here are a few other articles to give you more information. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

She did it by cutting calories and getting active. That's the key to losing weight; to take in less calories than we burn.
