Hi GBL,
You didn't say how long you've been on the diet. My suggestion to you is that if it didn't work over the long-term, is to seek a different diet plan. Since counting carbs didn't work, you may want to try one that counts calories. Here are a few links to help yo learn more. Let me know if you have further questions:
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI'm on Dr. Atkin's Diet but my weight is still the same as 6 years ago, so I need help.

You might want to consider the Flat Belly Diet which targets belly fat and even allows chocolate. That would satisfy your sweet tooth and still help you to lose weight.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI took Alli for a couple of days about six months ago, and I'm STILL suffering from 'treatment effects,' but haven't lost any weight. I'm on another weight-loss program (Shaklee Cinch). I haven't gained a lot of weight, but my belly is bigger, so it appears to all be in my stomach. I try to watch what I eat - lots of salads and lean protein especially, but I confess to having a sweet tooth. I've been reading about possible problems with artificial sweeteners, but I'm at a loss about the apparently ongoing problems after only a few Alli tablets. Any suggestions?
