Hi Dawn,
It is very difficult when a child leaves home and when they decide to serve our country this way, it is extra hard because you know they won't be popping in to eat with you or do their laundry.
Interesting report you give with improvement of your mood while taking honey and cinnamon. Let us know if it continues to work...if so there's a lot of people out there that might just want to try it.

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI made some of this about two hours ago and my mood is so much better. I have been sad the last couple of weeks because my son left for the Navy and I must say, I don't feel sad anymore and I have more energy. If it doesn't help me lose weight, I'll continue to drink it to help my mood.
-- Contributed by: DawnHi Lina,
I've had people comment who say this works great for them and others who say it doesn't work at all. As for the "parts" that means equal measurement. So if your measurement is a teaspoon, it would be one teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 teaspoons of honey.
Let me know how it works.
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladNot to sound dumb, but what exactly does it mean 1 part cinnamon, 2 parts honey? I don't really understand? Can someone please explain? And has anyone tried this out, and has it worked? I've struggled with my weight for years, and I want to know if maybe this could help me start out the right way to losing weight without trying over the counter weight loss pills that harm your liver...any response would be greatly appreciated! thnx!
-- Contributed by: LinaHi again Brooklynn,
Some people prefer counting carbs to counting calories, but for me counting calories has always worked. Tell your mum good luck with this. :)

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHey Donna, Well that's heaps good. I'm not trying to diet. It is for my mum, I luv her and this diet didn't work for her. Anyway it's been nice talking to you and I'll try that diet 4 my mum. thx

The diet that works best for me is the 1200 Calorie Diet. I always put it off because I don't like to have to figure out how many calories are in the things I'm eating. However, once I get started, it really isn't so bad, and I'm always happy to see the weigh loss.
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHey Donna, Well that's a shame that you didn't see results. There are always different diets. Better luck next time. Brooklynn xoxo
-- Contributed by: *BROOKLYNN*Hi Brooklynn,
I've had people comment here that it really works for them. I tried it for a little while, but didn't see any results. I think it is based on wishful thinking.
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladWow, this is a really weird diet, like come on honey n cinnamon? If this really works I'll be so surprised lol. Anyway good luck 2 you people who try.
-- Contributed by: *BROOKLYNNN*Hi Betty,
Those who recommend this drink say to use raw honey because pasteurization destroys the beneficial enzymes.
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladWhat kind of honey? I have Burks Canada No 1 pure natural clover liquid honey. Is this ok for the drink? Thank you. Will you please answer? Betty
-- Contributed by: bettyHi Laurie,
I did use raw honey (only kind I use). I'll look forward to how it works for you!
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI am going to try this after I consulted a local food store and websites about this. First of all you need to use RAW or unpastuerized honey, just wanted to clarify that:)
I'll post my results in two weeks!
-- Contributed by: laurieHi Ricardo,
You're following the instructions. I tried this, too, and it didn't do anything for me. Really, I think choosing a healthy eating plan is the better way to go.
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHi, my name is Ricardo and I have been doing this diet(Honey and Cinnamon) for almost 2 weeks. I have not lost any weight yet? What am I doing wrong? Well what I do is:
- Boil a cup of water
- Add the half teaspoon of the cinnamon into the water
- Wait like 30 min.
- Add a full teaspoon of honey
- Drink half of the cup before going to sleep and in the other half the following day.
Normally I put it in the microwave to heat it! Anyway if somebody reads this pls let me know if I am doing something wrong. tks Ricardo
-- Contributed by: ricardo carliniHi MW,
That's good to hear. I haven't had success with it myself, but I wasn't really faithful so I can't blame the honey/cinnamon tea. Have you lost weight?
Donna
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladI think it works if you can take regularly in the morning on empty stomach & before going to bed (at least 30 min before).
-- Contributed by: MWHi Janet,
Whenever you detox you can expect varying symptoms. What they are will depend on you and your body but can include things like headache, skin breakouts, sluggishness and more.
Donna
