Hi Mandy,

Is your goal to lose weight? If you haven't seen any change in two weeks, I would not continue with the Slim Fast plan. You might have better luck with a calorie restricted diet made up of healthy foods.

I've been using Slim Fast shakes for 2 weeks. One for breakfast, one for lunch and a Slim Fast treat in the afternoon. Then a healthy meal at night, also walking my dog every night for half an hour. I don't feel much different. Do I still persevere?

Hi Naila,

Unfortunately that is a common side effect for many who use Slimfast. I don't know of a solution as long as you are still using the product.

Goodness... its been just 2 days I've been on Slimfast and boy am I gassy all day! It's embarrassing...though it's working on my appetite no doubt, but what do I do with the gases!?

Hi Tina,

Thanks for sharing your personal experience. No weight loss,eh? How long did you try it?

Slim fast! Wow, all I can say is get ready to be full of gas. It really makes you pass gas all day, and all that for no weight loss. Thumbs down on slim fast.

Hi Emma,

Thanks for taking the time to share your personal experience. For the most part, diets that require eating or drinking one thing to lose weight tend to get boring, and they don't train people to rethink their eating habits. As a result, the diet becomes unsatisfying and before you know it, you return to your old eating habits and in most cases gain the weight back.

I suggest you find a balanced diet that allows you to enjoy food with a variety of choices. Let me know how it goes.

I lost 4 stone on Slim Fast, but that's when it was in tins. When they put it into bottles they changed the taste and it's awful! So I had to stop drinking it. Needless to say, I have now put the weight back on. You need to keep drinking the stuff when you reach your target weight to keep it off, but after a while the supplements stop filling you up!
