Sally, you have reached LoveToKnow Diet, not Dr. Siegal. I'm sorry his diet did not bring the results you hoped for. He does suggest it is followed under the supervision of a Dr. for best results. Other than that, Smart For Life sounds very much like it has followed the same idea Dr. Siegal started with so many years ago. No counting calories, pre-packaged foods, etc. Congratulations on your weight loss.

DR SIEGAL,

Your diet has been a disaster for years! The cookies are boring. I'm sorry...but your diet doesn't compare to the smart for life program. I have done both. I lost 9 miserable pounds on your diet. On smart for life I lost 14 lbs in 1 month. I eat 6 organic cookies per day and a healthy dinner meal. THATS IT!!! No counting calories...no pre made dinner meals. I have tried it all...and Smart for Life works!

Hi Marilyn,

Thanks for sharing your success. Dr. Segal did admit that he purposefully did not make his cookies taste great because he doesn't want to tempt his patients to overeat. Glad to hear you haven't had that problem on SmartforLife.

I have tried both Dr. Siegal and Smart for Life and by far Smart for Life are MUCH BETTER! They really taste good, they also have far more products to choose from. I have lost 30 pounds on Smart for Life and It has been a very long time since I feel this good. Any diet takes discipline and that is what we need when get to be overweight. I think this program is great for everyone because it is easy and most of all effective. Smart for Life keeps you motivated when you start seeing the results. Their cookies are 60% organic and Kosher which Dr. Siegal's are not. I love Smart for Life, it has changed my life and it can change yours to!
