Hi Amy,
I'm still tweaking my diet. I've lost a little more that 20 pounds in the last couple of years, but it's an ongoing process. Watch for the Diet Blog here at LoveToKnow, it's in the works along with forum where will be able to discuss what's current. Can't wait.

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHey donna..any chance you were able to find enough information online to create your own diet plan. I mean I think i have the GENERAL idea..but i want to make sure. My husband and I joined a LOCAL version of the biggest loser and we are reaching our last 4 weeks...and I am looking to pull all the tricks out to get those last few pounds
-- Contributed by: AmyThegreatHi Route 13,
If you are resourceful, you don't have to pay for it. You can find enough information online to create your own diet plan. However, most people don't have that kind of time and so they pay to get the information from the people who did gather the information and develop a plan.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladWHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF KNOWING ABOUT CALORIE SHIFTING?
-- Contributed by: Enter your name hereHi Kaw,
Good question. Calorie shifting can make a difference in two weeks IF the change you make is a reduction in calories compared to your normal diet. For example, if you regularly eat 2,500 calories a day and then go on a calorie shifting diet that never goes over 1300 calories you will lose weight.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladDoes calorie shifting really work in 2 weeks?
-- Contributed by: does it really workHi Betty,
The calorie shifting diet is a low calorie diet that requires you to eat a different about of calories each day. The premise is that by eating meals with different calorie values, you will cause a unique reflex in your body which raises your metabolism and fat burning and keep it high for as long as you keep doing calorie shifting. To calorie shift, eat 4 or more meals a day with different calorie values and drinking plenty of water.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladWhat if I don't want to download and pay for it? Is there another site that does the same shifting for you for free? Please help.

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladWOW, after one week on the Fat Loss for Idiots Diet which promises you'll lose 9 pounds in 11 days, I lost 12 lbs in just 7 days. You get to pick the foods You want to eat, and the program makes up the daily menus for you. I don't feel hungery between meals. All Vegetables day was a bit tough, but then I decided to just make a Vegtable soup. I can eat that every day, so that solved that problem. If you've tried everything (and I have)and nothing works, try this one. It's working for me. Looking forward to see how much weight loss the next week will bring. Best thing, after 11 days on this plan, you get to cheat and eat anything you want for 3 days in a row, before starting the plan again.
-- Contributed by: Don LabelleHi Michael,
The calorie shifting diet is basically a low calorie diet, but you don't eat the same amount of calories each day. For example, on the 1200 calorie diet you strive to eat about that number of calories everyday. When calorie shifting, you may eat 1200 calories one day and 1400 the next.
Also, when calorie shifting, it is important to have up to 4 or more meals a day. No snacks or tiny meals are allowed, and each meal should have a different amount of calorie. Along with this remember to drink up to 10 glasses of water a day.
Hope that helps to get you started. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I would like to try the calorie shifting diet. I have done a lot of reading up and research on it, and I want to stick to it. Are you able to help me with a weekly plan to follow? Hormones in birth control pills may act on tissues in breasts, hips and thighs that make people feel like they've gained weight. Most often this is due to fluid retention. Estrogen in birth control pills affects fat cells and makes them larger. You are still young, and your body is developing which can also be perceived as weight gain. You can check with your doctor and see what he thinks about your weight. However, it never hurts to eat healthy and to exercise regularly. This should help you reach your ideal weight.
Hello,
I have been experiencing some weight issues lately. I have been a model since the age of 16 and I went on the pill about 4 months ago and put on a lot of weight....but I was eating the same food. Now I'm off the pill. I'm trying to shed this weight and I can't. I went 4 weeks eating soups and it did nothing for me. What can I do? Chloe

Your exercise routine targets strengthening as well cardiovascular. Both work to help burn calories. As your body grows accustomed to your routine your metabolism expects that activity level. Shifting the amount of calories you eat is said to keep your metabolism guessing so it burns calories and stored fat faster.
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHow does this work when I work out an hour to an hour and a half a day with maybe one to two days off a week? (weight train 3 days a week cardio the rest.

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladThanks so much. I'm new at dieting and calorie shifting. I'm 23 and I have six children. I need to lose weight. My youngest child left a lot of weight on me. Before I would go right back down to my size, sometimes smaller. I'm 5'9 and 200 pounds, and I would like to lose about 40 pounds............... Unhappy, truly tired, out of breath fast. Thanks for the tips.
