Hi thamizhinian,

If you follow the guidelines set within this article you should see results. For example:

Minimize White Carbs - As the article states, "These foods have a high glycemic index." One of the things this leads to is the storage of body fat. The very thing you want to reduce. This one step will make a difference, combined with all the other steps found on this diet, including exercise, you should see your weight go down as you lose that unwanted body fat.

Hi Sahar,

I understand your confusion. There are so many diets claiming to be "the one" to make you slim. In the end, what you need to choose is a nutritionally balanced diet that is combined with regular exercise. Avoid fad diets that may work initially, but then fail when you gain the weight back and more. Ask your Dr. what he or she recommends.

Hi Tracey,

That's a good idea. What parents eat plays a big part in shaping children’s eating habits. If you eat a variety of low-fat, low-sugar, high-fiber foods your kids will learn to like them too. How a parent eats does have an effect on children, and your example of physical activity develops their physical habits too. So along with making wise food choices, you can set a good example by going for a walk or bike ride after dinner.

I'm going to try this b/c its the only diet that doesn't sound extreme and I'm a mom, what I have to eat is what the kids eat. I don't think that they will freak out if I tell them that veggies and fruit are snacks they can have large amounts of. The way we eat is with our eyes and if it looks like alot, we won't be as hungry.

Doesn't it? No extremes. A balanced practical approach.
