Cookbooks
Over the years, Weight Watchers has offered cookbooks for nearly every food and dining situation imaginable. From gourmet cooking, to crock pot meals, to just desserts, there is surely an appropriate match for your need. Each recipe collection conveniently lists Points, making the decision to prepare or not to prepare easier. This past spring, Super-Foods Cookbook was welcomed into the vast collection, which highlights fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
Nutrition and Health Guidebooks
Family Power, the newest guidebook to hit bookshelves, is an in-depth look at weight management issues related to parents and children. Meal planning, how to change eating habits, and improving exercise practice are just a few topics covered.
Food
Weight Watchers would not be the comprehensive program it has become without offering suitable (and tasty) food products. Within their food mecca, there are two categories: Weight Watchers food at the grocery store and Weight Watchers food at the weekly meeting locations.
Grocery Store Picks
In your local store, you will find crackers, cereals, breads, yogurts, smoothies, frozen meals/Smart Ones, frozen treats, muffins, and chocolate candy, all with Points values already calculated for you.
Meeting Room Only
At weekly meetings, members have access to Breakfast Bars and Just 2 Points Bars as snack options in their menu plans. Other food products may be offered on occasion, which last or don’t last depending on sales. Some of these products have included smoothie mixes and gummy-type candy.
Online Program Products
Since computers have become a permanent fixture in many households and workplaces, Weight Watchers has followed suit by offering their entire program online. This product provides the obvious convenience of losing weight within your time frame and the privacy of your own home or work.
Similar to the online product, current members can purchase eTools. This product is adjunct to the traditional meeting room arrangement. While both products offer interactive tools for charting progress, calculating Points, finding recipes, and similar functions, the price plans for each differ. You can find all the details on the Weight Watchers website.
Weight Watchers On-The-Go
For the real computer enthusiast who owns a handheld device, this product solves all the common difficulties with following a diet plan while leading a busy life. With its Points tracker, food lists, restaurant and grocery store database, and program calculators for foods and activities, the entire program is portable and “handy”. And, all the information is easily synchronized to your laptop or desktop computer.
There is a catch, however. In order to obtain the On-The-Go product, you need to sign up for Weight Watchers online or eTools. You can obtain the details at the company website on how to go about purchasing this feature.
Pedometers and Other Gadgets
A pedometer is a fun, motivational, and easy way to keep track of extra Points. Whether you are an avid walker or runner, or simply a person who is on their feet during the day, you are sure to get a kick from seeing your results at the end of the day. And, with the new guidelines of taking 10,000 steps per day, this gadget is the tool to help you keep track of each and every one.
Food scales and Points calculators are other tools of the Weight Watchers trade. You can purchase both at your meeting location and online. Also available is an extensive line of scales to track your weight changes. These are available in meeting rooms or online as well.
Miscellaneous Gear
At different times, and for different reasons, mostly promotional, a variety of products can be spotted on the Weight Watchers block. For example, you may find water bottles, bracelets, videos, DVD’s, and apparel at certain times. However, no matter what the item, Weight Watchers has continued to offer quality products, as well as a weight loss plan, to fulfill most needs for following their program conveniently and as easily as possible.
