Benefits of Drinking Water

With any diet, no matter which one we choose, drinking water is an important component. But
how much water should I drink each day? The old standard answer is eight eight-ounce glasses. Right? But we're not all the same size and weight, so realistically we can't all need the same amount of water.
If you're drinking 64 ounces that's great, but if you want to meet your body's needs more specifically, the formula to determine how much water to drink for your body weight is to divide your weight in pounds by two. The number of pounds that is half your weight translates into the amount of ounces of water you should drink daily.
If I don't make a plan, I struggle to get 64 ounces down, and with this formula, I need to drink more than 64 ounces. Is it worth it? What difference does it really make? Well actually, it does make a difference.
Because it's easy to not drink my water, I keep a list of benefits for why I should drink water as a reminder to help motivate me. If you have more benefits to add to the list, just leave a comment.
